Many games have been making a push for diversity. We recently saw Don Bradman's Cricket 17 add women to the game, while last year's FIFA 16 was the first time women's teams had been included in the series.
Uncharted 4 director Neil Druckmann recently said that it is "absolutely" crucial to have characters who are women and people of color in his games. He believes that diversity should be one of the core pillars of game development, alongside gameplay, graphics, and story.
